An edited version of freesound #162268 by eneaszthe intervals between the dog running are removed. It came out surprisingly well. No skipping or clipping or any of that whatsoever. As this is the very second sound effect i've ever uploaded, i could benefit from feedback. I encourage people to rate and comment, and if you use this sound effect for something, don't be afraid to link it in the comments. I'd love to see what people use this for.
Inside a five-story stairwell in a large masonry building, a squeaky wooden door on a metal frame being opened and then closing on a floor above the recorder.
Ascending to the second floor in my grandmother's barn. Assortment of thumps and squeaks, including a horribly loud, squeaky pulley and a pedal-operated flywheel thing, and some good footsteps going up and down a wooden staircase. Recorded on a sony pcm-d50.
A person approaches the entrance, opens the door with an electronic lock, goes up the stairs, opens the door to the apartment, enters and writes down the lock. Recorder: tascam dr-40. Recorded at 2016-03-24.
The sound of a shopping cart going up the stairs. (used in a production of sideways stories from wayside school - a sound that scares the children, but then when we see the shopping cart we realize what it is) created by recording a shopping cart with some stuff in it going down a step. Loopable. Edit: i see a lot of people are enjoying this sound! if you'd like to donate a dollar or two towards my personal starving artist fund here is a donation link: https://www. Paypal. I cobbled some sound effects together to get the sound of footsteps on a rickety metal staircase for the third episode of bloody bold irresolute. It can also work for bridges.
(recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: binaural roland cs-10em in-ear monitors). As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully don't turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. I'm done in the hot tub and walking up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment. Squeak. . . Squeak. . . Squeak. . . Sure to sound either intimidating or goofy. Depends on your show!. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. Recorded on 11/20/2018 in burbank, ca. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.
Recording of footsteps on a wooden floor, wearing shoes (sneaky petes). I walk from a solid wood floor to a corridor, up a short flight of stairs to another room with a laminated wood floor, then back to the first room. The ambiance changes slightly in the different rooms. I used an sm58 and an irig pro on an ipad using garageband and mastered in cubase.
Walking stairs with shoes: various speed of walking with heel shoes up and down some wood staris. Recorder: zoom h4n with the internal mic on 48khz with 24bit.
The repercussions of hitting a metal pole with a small metal gate, at the bottom of a 10 story stairwell. Causes the gate to rattle and shake. Recorded with an iphone 6.
Slow deliberate walk up a set a concrete stairs in a concrete stairwell. Lots of reverb. Sounds a little ominous, like someone is coming to get you. Recorded indoors on a samsung galaxy s3 using recforge.
. . On the third plant of an apartment building in a calm, suburbian district. There is only a little traffic resonating through one half opened window of the staircase. Once in a while you can here the neighbour's kids laughing or yelling. Almoste unhearable there may be an adult's voice or someone speaking on a television and some unspecific sounds coming from one of the flats. Plus one or two bird's singing can be heard from the trees nearby. It's juli 2021.
Hitting a metal pole with a small metal gate, at the bottom of a stone-wall lined 10 story stairwell. The first hit wavers a bit more, while the second hit carries more conviction.
